Hayley Quinn Cooper i thought we were having you change your dress magically from rags?>

Hayley Quinn Cooper if i write in a wedding scene, i'll let you know, but i don't want to write it in just for the sake of a dress change :P sorry but if it doesn't fit, i won't put it in, but i will really try to get it on at the end, but just for the sake of dress changes, and time and fitting it in with the storyline, i can't say for sure yet if we have one or not, i'll try to put one in as hard as i can xD i'll let you know as soon as i do (:

Abbi Ellingworth just an idea.. i thought it would be more pantoy... and i thought the wedding was at the end anyway?

Hayley Quinn Cooper yeah, it would be a bit odd to put it in the middle xD if i can get the wedding in, i will, but the dress change thing may be tricky, besides let's not concentrate on costume too much at this point, we don't want it taking priority xD i love costume and stuff (: you know i do, but we gotta wait until everything else is sorted (:

Sarah Sharp I know i know, It just seems a nice ending, they get married, 'oh no' shock horror when the realise they have to go back to their own homes, Alice comes up with a solution, writes in a new page, sing and dance to finish HAPPY DAYS xx

Abbi Ellingworth ive been in a panto where they put it in the third scene, everyone was well confused... but it could happen before the marriage bit,, then all that :)

Hayley Quinn Cooper hmm... i assumed everyone was going back to their own stories?

Hayley Quinn Cooper xD ahaha don't worry, i'm doing the full structure of act one now, we have an extra scene currently, but i'm not done yet, so who knows! we could have 6! xD anyway, if there is a wedding possible, i'll let you know, and i'm going to have to think really hard about the ending, as it's very important!! :D

Hayley Quinn Cooper okay, i can work a wedding into it :P you'll be pleased to know, but the ending is still undecided (:

Hayley Quinn Cooper okay, do you still want the change from the rag dress to the normal cinerella dress, or do you want to just keep the rags til the wedding?
3 September 2011 at 18:17 · Like ·  1

Hayley Quinn Cooper we could have the wedding dress underneath the rags, but it can't be too big, or we won't be able to hide it well at all
3 September 2011 at 18:18 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper oooorrr... we could just have the wedding right then and there

Hayley Quinn Cooper If we do that, the bride throws the bouquet, which is caught either by one of the bad guys, or by alice, causing everyone to look, realising the bad guys are just about to kidnap her

Hayley Quinn Cooper hmm, i'll think about this XD
3 September 2011 at 18:20 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper We have some more audience interaction, whenever they see a page blow past (we'll do some super theatrical... man dress as the wind holding paper type thing) they have to shout "IT'S A PAGE!"

Sarah Sharp im thinking keep it simple, rags- cinders dress- take me out - wedding dress - wedding xxx
3 September 2011 at 18:29 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper ah, see, i've just gone straight like this Rags, take me out, wedding dress, wedding, alice kidnap, end of act one
3 September 2011 at 18:30 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper just because, it's a bit much to have so many costume changes
3 September 2011 at 18:30 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper and to have you change into your cinders dress only to change out again moments later, it hardly seems worth it :P

Sarah Sharp yeah but the wedding's always at the end as the happily ever after...

Hayley Quinn Cooper baisdbas but i don't have an ended yet, i've put it so that the prince refuses to carry on without a wife, hence the impromptu marriage, which aggrivates the white queen because she wants to get on and find the pages, causing her to say the vicars lines as quickly as she can, so that she can hardly be understood, and then we have the audience help by saying "I now pronounce you man and wife" as loud as they can, and then the flowers get thrown, then they see alice, then the bad guys, then she gets kidnapped, end of act one :P I GOTS IT ALL PLANNED OUT

Abbi Ellingworth HAYLEY I WANT TO SEE THIS! sounds awesome btw ;)

Hayley Quinn Cooper Considering we have so much other stuff to cover, like the fight scene near the end, all pantos need a fight scene! Over who gets the pages, and the red and white queen having a bitch off xD ending in the red queen losing when fairy gee casts the "BIPPETY BOPPETY BOOBS" spell, and then promptly popping one of her balloon boobs, causing her to flee wonderland in shame, leaving the pages and the book behind, and the rest of the characters to follow her, and then the good characters of wonderland say their final goodbyes, -insert some sort of heartfelt lovely scene here- and the reattaching of the pages, but i may add the thing where they all agree to meet up on this day every year

Sarah Sharp It just seems very 'get the prince and princess married and done with as soon as possible' :/ i dont mean to sound like im having a go... it just seems like you've put everything into one half when actually it would make a good ending... i know you've got the hardest job here but its gonna be really difficult to direct...
3 September 2011 at 18:41 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper it won't be really, i've planned everything out to the final detail, it's just i don't think it should end on that, because the story isn't about the relationship of cinderella and prince charming, it's about getting the characters back to wonderland, besides, i'm already talking to james about these things anyway, as us two are going to have to work together alot to sort it all and make sure we know what we are doing

Hayley Quinn Cooper Sorry, but i've just got to put my foot down on this one :/

Katieann Bird Sorry but imm agreeing with sarah, wedding has to be at the end :/ even if its not a proper wedding, just like 'now lets get married' me and sarah get changed, weddings are always at the end, sorry hayley you're doing an amazing job of the script, it's just traditional :/
3 September 2011 at 18:56 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper Yes, but you're forgetting, that this story is about alice in wonderland, and it seems to rather distract from the plotline if we just plop that at the end, it was enough of a stretch as it was putting a wedding in at all, i'm trying to see what i can do, but i just don't feel that it works
3 September 2011 at 18:57 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper it's not that i don't want it at the end, it's just that i don't see how i'm going to put it there, without it being completely randomly placed there
3 September 2011 at 18:58 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper like, oh end of story, good guys win, pages fix, RANDOM WEDDING :P do you get what i mean, it just seems to not fit with the rest of the story
3 September 2011 at 18:59 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper i'm just finding it hard to figure out how i could even begin to place that there, because when i first started planning the storyline, we hadn't even talked about a wedding, so now i can't find a place for it
3 September 2011 at 18:59 · Like

Katieann Bird I dont quite see how it's a problem for it to be at the end yet it's okay for it to be straight after take me out scene? It just seems just like randomly placed :/
3 September 2011 at 19:00 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper It would seem really randomly placed wherever we put it though, because it's not tying in with the plot i already typed out for alice in wonderland
3 September 2011 at 19:00 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper that's why i'm trying to desperately fit it in
3 September 2011 at 19:00 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper but it's near impossible because i didn't even know we all wanted a wedding
3 September 2011 at 19:00 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper at this point i'll take it out for now, so that it's nowhere, then at school, we'll discuss if and where we need it because it's obviously causing upset
3 September 2011 at 19:01 · Like ·  1

Katieann Bird But it isnt the story of alice in wonderland tho, it's about all the characters, not just the story of alice in wonderland x
3 September 2011 at 19:01 · Like

Katieann Bird I'm not upset. I'm just saying that it would make more sense if it was at the end,
I'm just stating my opinion
3 September 2011 at 19:08 · Like

Hayley Quinn Cooper i know that, i'm just saying that it should end with all characters getting back to their books, regardless, i'm taking it out until we can talk as a class, because we never actually did discuss it all together
